U-Haul vs. school bus in Cape Coral
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Cape Coral police are investigating a traffic crash involving a school bus and a U-Haul.
The crash happened at Santa Barbara Boulevard and SE 8th Street.
The crash injured three people including one of the students aboard the bus riding home from an elementary school. Two students on the bus ended up going to the hospital with minor injuries.
The other injured party was the driver of the U-Haul also went to the hospital with serious injuries. He was identified Bradfor Eric Tanner of North Fort Myers.
Witnesses tell FOX 4 News the U-Haul ran a red light.
Cape Coral Police says the driver of the U-Haul was under the influence of alcohol and that played a factor in the traffic crash.
