Three arrested in Lehigh Acres drive-by shooting
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - An early morning drive-by shooting in Lehigh Acres left one man wounded and ended with the arrests of three others.
Deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of Roma Avenue South after a report of multiple shots fired.
20-year-old Emanuel Madrigal was standing outside a house when a car pulled up and shots were fired. Madrigal was shot in the thigh and taken to the hospital by a friend.
Deputies responding tot he call saw two white vehicles driving at a high rate of speed, both running a stop sign at Sentinella Boulevard and bell Boulevard.
Deputies stopped a white Hyundai Sonota with three men inside with guns and ammunition in plain sight.
Arrested for aggravated battery and use of a deadly weapon and firing a weapon from a vehicle were Angel Luis Salome, 18, Robert Pena Lopez, 21 and Dany Borges-Matos, 19, all from Fort Myers.
