ESTERO, Fla. - A traffic stop on northbound I-75 near Corkscrew Road lead to the discovery of more than 50 pounds of marijuana in a white Chevrolet van.

The incident happened Monday evening when a deputy spotted the van with what appeared to be darker than legal window tint.

The deputy pulled over 54-year-old Linton Harris of Miramar.  The deputy says Harris appeared nervous as he searched for the vehicle's paperwork.

When the deputy handed Harris a warning for the tint he asked if he could search the van and Harris agreed.

That's when a cardboard box was found with 52.2 pounds of marijuana was found.

Harris is charged with possession of marijuana.
