Tornado hits Southern Mississippi
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi's Emergency Management Agency says it appears that a single tornado caused damage in three counties in the southern part of the state. The twister traveled down a main street in Hattiesburg Sunday, mangling homes, commercial buildings and structures on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. Officials say there are some injuries, but no deaths. Gov. Phil Bryant plans to check out the damage Monday.
