Series of suspicious fires in San Carlos Park
SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. - San Carlos Park firefighters responded to five separate brush fires all within the last 24 hours.
The fires all occurred along the U.S. 41/Tamiami Trail corridor, most not far from Alico Road.
The brush fires didn't cause any damage or threaten any homes or structures but the Fire Marshall is investigating due to the suspicious nature.
In all five acres were burned. Anyone with any information pertaining to these fires can contact San Carlos Park Fire District at (239) 267-7525 or the Arson Hotline at 1-800-342-5869 to remain anonymous.
