4 arrested in Charlotte County hotel drug bust
CHARLOTTE HARBOR, Fla. - Charlotte County narcotics detectives arrested four people on 25 drug charges Tuesday at the Knights Inn in Charlotte Harbor.
36-year-old Corey Arkee Platt, 47-year-old Lawrence "Larry" Charles Dipietro Jr., 45-year-old Cami Sue Lefresne all of Port Charlotte and 27-year-old Heather Lee Hanlin of Charlotte Harbor were all taken into custody.
Detectives seized Crack Cocaine, a Pyrex pipe, a metal push rod found in the toilet, two digital scales, a metal smoking pipe, four metal spoons, a plastic pill crusher and numerous syringes, all with Cocaine residue.
Detectives said they made three undercover drug buys from Platt on January 14, January 22 and February 4. He is charged with three felony counts of sale and delivery of cocaine; four counts of possession of cocaine, and one count each for possession of opiates and possession of paraphernalia.
Narcotics detectives made two drug buys from Dipietro in November 2012 and in January of this year. He is charged with two counts of sale and delivery of cocaine, two counts of possession of cocaine, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of sale and delivery of hydromorphone and one possession of hydromorphone.
Both Defrense and Hanlin were charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drugs without a prescription along with possession of drug paraphernalia.
