Robbery investigation at Dunkin' Donuts
FORT MYERS SHORES - A robbery investigation is underway at a Dunkin Donuts in Fort Myers Shores.
It happened around 2:00 this morning.
We know that the manager was preparing to open the store when two men rushed in, kocking her down and hitting her on the head. She was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, but is said to be okay.
The men did get away with an undisclosed amount of money and the manager's cell phone.
Deputies spent the morning looking for the two suspects - we dont have much of a description right now - but we know one of them is armed.
The store will not open until the investigation is over, possibly by 8:00am.
