One dead after Cape Coral crash
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A traffic crash claimed the life of a 60-year-old woman Monday afternoon in Cape Coral.
Police say Mary Watkins died after her car struck a utility pole and a tree head on.
Watkins was pronounced dead on scene.
The crash left about 12 residents without power. Crews are working to make repairs to restore power to the area.
