Suspected drug dealer arrested in Charlotte County
ENGLEWOOD EAST, Fla. - A sharp-eyed Charlotte County road deputy recognized the driver of a car that passed him as a suspected drug dealer.
That led to the arrest of 53-year-old David Campbell of Englewood East.
Campbell finally stopped by pulling into his driveway in his green Ford with an Indiana tag. His driver’s license has been suspended since 2008.
Campbell was transported to the Charlotte County Jail after being arrested on six charges of sale and delivery of oxycodone, sale and delivery of hydromorphone, possession of hydromorphone, possession of oxycodone, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license is suspended. He remains in jail on a $16,000 bond.
