Cape Coral police rescue pig
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Cape Coral police responded to an unusual call Thursday afternoon in the area of SE 16th Place about a wild boar running through the neighborhood.
What officers found wasn't a rampaging hog, but a rather friendly pig. A FOX 4 viewer caught the animal cozying up to officers.
They decided the pig wasn't wild and had probably escaped from its owners. The pig was taken to an animal rescue group for safe keeping.
If you know who owns the pig you can call the Cape Coral Police Department at (239) 574-3223.
