Cape Coral man killed in North Fort Myers
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - An early morning walk turned deadly for a 45-year-old Cape Coral man.
Michael Mullady was crossing Judd Road near West Mariana Avenue around 6:15 a.m. when he was struck by a Jeep driven by 39-year-old Stafford Wyatt Goff of Fort Myers.
Mullady was later pronounced dead at Lee Memorial Hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Goff tried to stop but that Mullady was at fault for crossing the road where he did.
Goff was cited for unknowingly driving on a suspended driver's license.
