DUI crash kills one in Immokalee
IMMOKALEE, Fla. - A crash Sunday morning in Immokalee claimed the life of an 81-year-old Naples man. The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash involved alcohol.
The FHP says Victor Felix Moreno was driving a Ford Explorer east on Immokalee Drive approaching North 9th Street.
Joel Feinson was driving north on north on North 9th Street when Moreno ran a stop sign hitting Feinson's Lexus on the driver's side.
The impact sent Moreno's SUV into a "No Parking" sign post before it hit a tree. The impact killed Feinson at the scene.
Moreno is charged DUI manslaughter.
