Stabbing near Punta Gorda
PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for a man believed to have stabbed a woman south of Punda Gorda Saturday night.
Deputies say the call came in just before 7 p.m.
A 23-year-old woman was taken to Lee Memorial after the stabbing at 11290 Pineapple Road.
K-9 and helicopters are searching for the 19-year-old suspect, Michael See. He fled on foot heading south.
See is described as about 6 feet tall, with glasses, brown hair and was last wearing a dark shirt, and dark pants.
The woman's condition isn't known.
