Teen, one of Lee County's most wanted, captured in Kentucky
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - A 15-year-old from North Fort Myers accused of going on a months long crime spree was captured in Kentucky.
FOX 4 does not identify juvenile suspects. A tip to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers led to the arrest of the teenager on seven warrants including burglary, grand theft, grand theft of a firearm and dealing in stolen property.
Despite his age the suspect has established himself as a well known criminal in Lee County. In 2012 the 15-year-old was arrested three times on 18 different charges including a pending charge of resisting an officer with violence.
The teenager is accused of striking a deputy in the face and biting his thumb while being arrested.
