East coast trio nabbed in Golden Gate Estates burglaries

GOLDEN GATE ESTATES, Fla. - A traffic stop on Alligator Alley led to the arrest of a trio of men from Florida's east coast suspected of burglarizing numerous homes in the Golden Gate Estates.

Detectives for the Collier County Sheriff's Office had been working leads in the burglaries when information came in about a suspect vehicle.

The vehicle was spotted Tuesday afternoon heading east on I-75 when a traffic stop was initiated and three men were taken into custody.

The three are identified as 25-year-old Rommel McDonald Bradshaw, Junior of Lauderdale Lakes, 28-year-old Romey Howard IV and 29-year-old Andy Jermaine Johnson both of Fort Lauderdale.

The trio face charges of grand theft.
