Victim identified in single vehicle crash in Bonita Springs
BONITA SPRINGS - The Lee County Sheriffs Office have identified the victim of a fatal car crash in Bonita Springs Tuesday night.
The Sheriff's office telling us it happened around 8:15 Tuesday night on Liberty Youth Ranch Way and Wellfield Road.
When emergency crews arrived on scene, they found 69-year-old Roy Ahalt dead.
Investigators believe the vehicle hit trees in the wooded area and caught fire.
This incident has been ruled a traffic homicide and the investigation have determined that alcohol was a factor in this crash.
