NAPLES, Fla.- Neighbors in the Palm River Estates neighborhood are furious over losing their view.

Paul Rodgerson gets emotion when he thinks of losing the view he's valued.

"It's morally and ethically wrong, my 70-year-old mother crying, it's just wrong," said Rodgerson.

Neighbors in the Palm River Estates neighborhood are furious after bushes started being planted in their backyard, blocking the view of La Playa's golf course.

"This was the golf course community and we bought the house because of the golf course," said Peter Defrancesca.

We first told you about this back in December. Neighbors worried property values would fall and hated to see the scenery go so they started a petition which continues to gain signatures. Rodgerson who started that petition received a threatening letter in the mail containing pornographic images of women, much to graphic to show on TV. Rodgerson handed the letter over to the sheriff's office and in the meantime neighbors continue the battle.

"What message do you have for management?"
"Take down the bushes, no compromise, nothing let it go back to normal over 30 years there's always been a view."

Fox 4 reached out to management, but never heard back.

"We don't see golfers, we don't see the view we paid for, don't see sunsets anymore."
