LEE COUNTY, Fla - Lee County commissioners are moving forward with a plan that could cut millions in funding from schools and emergency services.

The Board of Commissioners are now exploring the idea of suspending the county's impact fees. Those fees are imposed on new developments as a way to provide millions of dollars to things like schools, fire and EMS services. But some argue that those fees can discourage companies from building in the Lee County.
