Port Charlotte man killed in 3 vehicle crash
SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. - A three vehicle crash claimed the life of a 33-year-old Port Charlotte man and critically injured a 20-year-old Port Charlotte woman Tuesday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that Gerald Edward Tindall was driving north on North River Road in Sarasota County near Venice Avenue when his car drifted into the southbound lane clipping the left front of a Dodge Neon driven by 21-year-old Ariel Jordan Bryant of North Port.
The crash sent Bryant's vehicle into a spin. Bryant and a passenger in her car suffered minor injuries.
Tindall's car continued north hitting another car head-on 20-year-old Brittany Nicole Thomas of Port Charlotte. Thomas suffered critical injuries and she was taken to the Blake Medical Center.
