Fort Myers Police investigate robbery at Metro PCS
FORT MYERS, Fla.---The Fort Myers Police Department is looking for a suspect after a robbery at the Metro PCS story in Fort Myers on Friday.
Police responded the store located on Metro Parkway. The male suspect demanded money to which the employees complied. The suspect ran from the store and got back into the van and fled the scene. Officers located the van abandoned at the Village Creek Apartments located on Winkler Avenue which had been reported stolen last month. Anyone with information about who stole the van or information about the robbery is asked to call FMPD at 321-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
