Fire in remote southeast Lee County continues to burn
ESTERO, Fla. - The Florida Forestry Service is keeping a close watch on a 20 acres fire burning off SR 82 in an old orange grove.
The fire started last night sending the smell of smoke throughout southern Lee County.
Fire crews planned to start fires inside the burn area to help move the blaze along.
The fire does not pose a threat to any structures.
