Fort Myers police identify first murder victim of 2013
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police identified the man shot and killed in front of the Apostolic Revival Center Christian School Monday morning.
The victim is 27-year-old Kristopher Smith of Fort Myers. Smith was killed in the school's parking lot just before 11 a.m in the 2100 block of Barden Street. No children at the school were physically harmed.
Police believe the victim was targeted.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and that anyone with information is asked to call FMPD at 321-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
