One dead after Cape Coral accident
CAPE CORAL, Fla - Cape Coral Police identified the victim of a late night crash at Veterans Parkway and Country Club Boulevard.
25-year-old Richard Steven Aughinbaugh of Cape Coral was struck and killed by a car driven by Luis Martinez Garcia of Cape Coral.
Police say Aughinbaugh was wearing dark clothing and walking across eastbound Veterans Parkway when he stepped in front of the car. The driver was unable to see the victim in the dark.
