Dying mother's YouTube goodbye goes viral
CAPE CORAL - The YouTube video posted by a Cape Coral mother two months before her death from a rare heart condition has gone viral after Fox 4 first covered the story.
Jennifer Johnson, 30, died earlier this month after having open heart surgery but not before posting a heart breaking YouTube video telling her story, and sharing her fears, through flash cards.
When Fox 4 first broadcast the story on Dec. 24 Jennifer's YouTube video titled "A Heart Worth Saving" had a few hundred views online. One week later it's been viewed nearly 100,000 times.
News outlets across the world have covered her story.
Jennifer's husband, Robert, says he is "overwhelmed" by the response. He says people across the globe have been offering support for him and his two young kids.
He says the support is heart warming during a heart breaking time.
