Road Closures for New Years Eve

FORT MYERS, Fla.---Fort Myers Police Department have closed the following roads for the 2013 New Year’s Eve Downtown Countdown:

Edwards Drive from Monroe Street to Jackson Street

Bay Street from the exit of the City of Palm Parking Garage to Jackson Street

First Street from Monroe Street to Lee Street

Main St from Broadway to the Jackson Street

Broadway and Jackson Street will be closed from Main Street to Bay Street

Hendry Street from Main Street to Edwards Drive

Lee Street from Richmond Street to First Street

Road closures will begin at noon on December 31st and will remain closed until 4:00 a.m. on January 1st. Both downtown parking garages will be open and accessible.
