Red Kettle Campaign falls short
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The local Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign fell short of its goal by $170,000.
The non-profit had a goal of $720,000 dollars but only got $550,000. A spokesperson tells FOX 4 it's in need of a lot of help, after seeing an increase of families staying at their homeless shelter.
The Salvation Army was behind in its fundraising last year but a last-minute $100,000 donation by Billy Fuccillo of Fuccillo Kia helped the group exceed its goal.
