Collier County head-on crash sends 4 to hospital
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A head-on crash Sunday morning on SR 82 at CR 850 (Corkscrew Road) send four people to the hospital, one of the victims was in serious condition.
The Florida Highway Patrol 24-year-old Legber Perez of Immokalee was driving westbound on SR82 when he swerved into the eastbound lane to avoid traffic that was stopped in the westbound lane.
The GMC Jimmy Perez was driving hit head-on a car driving by 33-year-old Maria Garcia of Immokalee. Garcia suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital. Three other passengers in the car suffered minor injuries.
The FHP cited Perez for careless driving and driving without a license.
