Fort Myers police search for suspicious man
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police are looking for a man who approached a woman on Palm Beach Boulevard early Friday morning.
The woman told police she was approached by an unknown male in the 3600 block of Palm Beach while walking home at 2:30 a.m. The man appeared to have his hand underneath his shirt and implied he had a weapon.
The woman kept walking as the suspect followed her. The woman says the suspect then tried to force her to get into a vehicle driven by another person but she managed to escape unharmed.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, that he talked Spanish, was 30 to 40 years old, wore a white shirt and black shorts. The truck was an older, green, two-door pickup truck with the word "FOREVER" on the rear window. She could only see that the person inside the truck was wearing a baseball cap.
