Golden Gate grow house bust leads to arrest
GOLDEN GATE, Fla. - The Collier County Sheriff's Office busted a marijuana grow operation in the Golden Gate Estates Thursday morning.
Law officers served a search warrant in the 2700 block of 24th Avenue S.E. at a home where they found the master bedroom had been converted into a marijuana nursery. A further search for two other rooms with pot plants. In all about 24 pounds of marijuana was seized worth about $165,000.
52-year-old Robert Underwood and charged with running the grow operation and with possession of marijuana.
