Port Charlotte man charged with trafficking percocet
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Charlotte County deputies arrested a Port Charlotte man Thursday at his home for trafficking in percocet, a painkilling narcotic.
32-year-old Jason Michael Marrone is charged with trafficking in percocet, possession of percocet and possession of alprazolam.
Undercover Narcotics detectives purchased Percocet from Marrone in his home in September. He was arrested Thursday and was asked at the jail if he had any drugs or contraband on his person and he advised he did not. Upon entry into the jail, a search located alprazolam, schedule IV narcotic, in his left pants pocket.
Maroone is in the Charlotte County jail on $32,500 bond.
