FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fox 4 anchor Patrick Nolan was the guest speaker at the Myers Kiwanis Club meeting Wednesday Afternoon.

Kiwanis was the first service club in southwest Florida, established on April 28th, 1922.

Their first and foremost focus is helping Young Children in the Fort Myers area.

The club has many rich traditions and much to offer prospective members who want to get involved in helping children in their community.

They organize the Edison Science fair and World Atlas program in additon to several other charitable ventures - like running the Kiwanis Thrift store on Summerlin Road in South Fort Myers.

They meet every Wednesday at Noon in Fort Myer's historic Kiwanis Hall, 1634 Woodford Avenue (the corner of Woodford and Second Street).
