Arrest made in Sun Trust bank robbery in South Fort Myers
SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Lee County Sheriff's Office announced an arrest tonight in this morning's robbery of a Sun Trust bank in South Fort Myers.
39-year-old Benjamin Avila of Fort Myers was arrested for robbing at the bank near Summerlin Road and Pine Ridge Road. He is currently in the Lee County Jail. No other details about his rest were released.
No one was injured in the hold up.
