Cape Coral business fire ruled accidental
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - An early morning fire swept through the Heart n' Home Country Store on Cape Coral Street near Cape Coral Parkway causing heavy damage.
Flames destroyed the stores interior. Firefighters arrived on the scene around 2:20 a.m. and it took about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.
The fire caused smoke damage to a business adjacent to the store.
The fire was electrical in nature and caused an estimated $200,000 in damage.
LCEC was called to the building to remove the electric meter and Cape Coral's building inspector red tagged the structure.
