Immokalee student honored at Dolphins game
MIAMI, Fla. - An Immokalee high school student got a big honor at the Miami Dolphins game Sunday.
Candace Perez was one of four students who received a $50,000 grant from the Sun Life Rising Star Awards Program.
In addition to being honored on the field, Candace was treated to a breakfast hosted by the Dolphins CEO.
The awards program honors studens who have overcome tough obstacles to succeed in school
