SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - The White House is calling today's launch of a long-range rocket by North Korea a "highly provocative act that threatens regional security." North Korea successfully fired the rocket that the U.S., South Korea and Japan see as a test of technology needed to mount a nuclear warhead on a missile. Even China, North Korea's closest ally, is expressing "regret" that the North went ahead with the launch.
