LEE COUNTY, Fl – Lee County commissioners are moving forward with a plan to inspect the Sanibel Causeway after reports of cracks in three bridges.
The commission is voting today to look for cracks in the causeway's beams and look for any signs of deterioration. Any cracks deemed "significant" or "critical" will be re-inspected in the next six months to see if repair will be needed.
