Thief take cigarettes, lottery tickets at 2 Lee County gas stations
LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in identifying a man sought by detectives who suspect him in two recent early morning burglaries at two Lee County gas stations.
The thief took several hundred dollars worth of cigarettes and lottery tickets.
The first incident happened on November 25th at the Sunoco gas station at 5450 Palm Beach Boulevard. A newspaper carrier noticed the front window was broken out and called the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives found seven cartons of Marlboro cigarettes missing along with 13 lottery tickets.
Then on Monday December 3rd another newspaper carrier encountered the same thing at 10860 Miromar Outlet Drive at a Hess Station. This time the carrier noticed two men dressed in dark clothing runnaway away from the business. Again deputies entered thebusiness and found cigarettes and lottery tickets taken.
In the first case a darkcolored sedan driven by a white male was waiting for the suspect. A similar car was caught on camera for the second incident, as well.
Surveillience cameras at both locations captured images of the suspect.
