Naples Plaza business owners hope for revenue relief
NAPLES, Fla.---Business owners who say they lost a chunk of revue due to months of construction are hopeful that customers will return now that the job is finished.
Fox 4 has told you for months of the construction of a new Publix supermarket at Naples Plaza on the corner of Golden Gate Boulevard and US 41.
The owner of Rita's Water Ice told us earlier this year that he lost 30% of his business when renovations began at the plaza and construction started on the Publix.
Now that the construction is over at the new facility officially opened on Thursday, In Your Corner went to get reaction from those very same businesses that say the work damaged their business.
Andre Senior is working on this story and will have more tonight on Fox 4 news at 10 and 11.
