Anchor praises models working in the rain in the Fort Myers River District
FORT MYERS, Fla. - It's not easy being beautiful. Just ask the Blackwell family.
Ric and Meredith, and their four children, made the trip from Jupiter to Fort Myers so most of the family could appear in a commercial being shot at Ford's Garage in the Fort Myers River District.
The weather wasn't exactly perfect as they performed their roles as happy customers at the restaurant.
Cloudy skies and intermittent rain made things a challenge, but they got it done.
Even the Blackwell's youngest child, 13 month old Drew, cooperated after a long drive over from the east coast.
"She's barely cried," said Meredith.
The Blackwell's oldest child, Taylor, appears in the show Magic City.
On the 6pm news, Fox 4 anchor Patrick Nolan, who visited "the shoot" earlier in the day, praised the Blackwells for grace under pressure - or at least under light showers.
