Metro Parkway crash victim released from hospital
FORT MYERS, Fla.---The man who was struck by an S-U-V on Metro Parkway back in October is now back at home.
The attorney for Pastor David Vanaman says he was released Wednesday but has "a long recovery period ahead."
Vanaman has been in the hospital for over 43 days following the October 22, 2012 crash on the newly opened Metro Parkway Extension at the Briarcliff Road intersection.
Vanaman's wife Christine, confirms that while home, David will be using a walker to aid him in moving around as much as possible, and he'll be doing speech exercises prior to beginning physical and speech therapy at Healthpark Hospital December 27th.
