One person shot near downtown Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla.--- Fort Myers police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday afternoon.
A call came in around 3 p.m. that a male victim had been shot.
Officers arrived to find 19-year-old Reuben Aspilaire suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
He was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police set up a perimeter and began a K9 track. Police located and detained one male juvenile suspect on Royal Palm Avenue and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
