A festival of lights shines on downtown Cape Coral
CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Just like in Collier County, thousands of children experienced snow for the first time in Cape Coral. And they even got to play in it. There were games and fun for everyone, including bounce houses, games and balloons. It's been a Cape Coral tradition for more than 25 years.
"The kids get to be involved in all these rides and the little bit of snow that we never get to see in Florida," said Scott Huff, of Cape Coral. "So, it helps get in the Christmas spirit, get things going for the Christmas season."
The Chamber of Commerce also hosted silent auction. All proceeds go to scholarships for area children.
