FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - The Fort Myers Beach Christmas Parade is an annual tradition. But some say more people lined up than ever before to see the spectacular lights.

The pier at Salty Sam's Marina was packed as the Christmas spirit spread Florida-style. Boats lit up the night sky with Captain Santa leading the way but his elves were not far behind. Visitors and locals alike snapped photos of the parade as it made its way along Fort Myers Beach. And some point out, there was something for everyone.

"There's a guy with a bicycle all lit up," said Sarah Hohman, of Ohio. "And the boats are awesomely decorated especially the ones with all the dolphins on the sides."

The boat parade went through Matanza's Pass then by Nervous Nellie's before returning to Salty Sam's Marina. It ended at 9 p.m.
