Charlotte County boil notice lifted
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - A bacteriological survey shows the water is now safe for consumption in Charlotte County.
The boil water notice was issued Friday .
The notice affected all Charlotte County Utilities customers living east of Collingswood Boulevard who get water from the Peace River Water Treatment Plant.
Officials say repairs at the plant caused the water pressure to drop causing the notice to be issued.
