NAPLES, Fla.- Snow wasn't in the forecast, but it sure ended up in Collier County on Saturday. More than 15,000 people were expected to attend Snowfest at the Golden Gate Community Park in Naples.

It might be sunny and warm in Florida, but children ran up snowhills, threw snowballs, ice skated and got their sleds out.

"I'm definitely going to check out the big slide," said Lyday Lester.

"How was the snow," I asked.

"It was cold!!," replied Lester.

Snowfest started 27 years ago. If you're wondering where did they get the snow...900 blocks of ice were put thru a chipper creating tons of snow!
