Viewers Voice: More UFO sightings
LEE COUNTY, Fla. - More reports of strange sightings in the sky have people all over Southwest Florida talking.
Fox 4 first reported mysterious lights over the sky of Cape Coral, now people are coming forward from Fort Myers.
'"There must have been, I want to say 20. Maybe there were 15 but the whole slew of them in an absolute straight line and they were gliding, gliding just gliding smoothly and then they turned and went south down U.S. 41", said Gwen McDaniels.
Stephanie Ramos has cell phone video from a visit to Ft. Myers Beach showing three lights in the sky in a triangular shape.
Many viewers have called in with what they think it is.
"That was light in a luminaria floating off into the sky. That's probably what they were seeing", said Ron from Ft. Myers.
Another person calling our station calls them chinese lanterns. He says, "You can get them in orange or red. We have them up north and sometimes they set up sequences or follow the wind currents. That's why they go out after so many minutes or so many miles."
Allen with Firepower Fireworks also called in and said, "They're sky lanterns. They're a type of firework that's new to the area."
Teddy said, "I thought they could possibly be the United Drones."
