FORT MYERS, Fla.---A message has been spreading that claims you are about to lose the rights to your stuff because Facebook is changing its privacy policy.

You have probably seen the following message show up in your newsfeed over the last few days.

In response to the new Facebook guidelines I hereby declare that my copyright is attached to all of my personal details, illustrations, paintings, writing, publications, photos and videos, etc. (as a results of the Berner Convention.) For commercial use of the above my written consent is needed at all times.

The privacy message has probably resurfaced in relation to the real news that Facebook is proposing to end its practice of letting users vote on changes to its privacy policies.

More on those changes tonight on Fox 4 News at 10.
