Fort Myers' new River District trolley begins service downtown
FORT MYERS - Starting Monday, there will be a new way for you to get around Downtown Fort Myers.
The new River District trolley service starts this morning at 11:00.
The first route will run on First Street making stops between Monroe and Lee Streets, and will run every 15 minutes on Monday through Saturday.
The other route runs from the Oasis Condominiums to West First Street and McGregor Boulevard.
The trolley routes going into effect just as "season" starts in Southwest Florida.
