FORT MYERS, Fla. - Imagine a Christmas tree dressed up like Elvis Presley or covered in teddy bears. Well it all becomes reality at The Festival of Trees. Fox 4 Rising's Alex Butler shows us southwest Florida's most colorful Christmas trees decorated and display in downtown Fort Myers.
This is the sixth year Goodwill Industries' has put on the holiday tradition known as the Festival of Trees at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers.
The week-long event features 25 trees hand decorated by local businesses. All the trees will be auctioned off December 1st.
The proceeds benefit Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida. Last year they raised about $56,000.
