Man sought in North Fort Myers burglaries arrested
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - An anonymous tip led to the arrest of a suspect in at least two North Fort Myers home burglaries.
Crime Stoppers issued a plea to the community on Friday asking for information as to the whereabouts of 33-year-old Brian Kolpack, a convicted felon.
Kolpack was arrested at along Bayshore Road Saturday morning and taken to the Lee County jail for booking.
"Mr. Kolpack's arrest is the perfect example of what can happen when the community steps up to the plate and works with law enforcement to remove the criminal element from their neighborhoods," said Trish Route, Crime Stoppers Coordinator.
Routte commended the Lee County Sheriff's Office for their quick response to the tip.
Surveillance video connected Kolpack to a home burglary on November 15 and investigators suspected he burglarized a second home two days later.
